Our organization’s objective is to break the social isolation too often experienced by the most vulnerable people in our society. We follow a client centered harm reduction model, we are nondenominational and transgender friendly, supporting individuals 18+ who struggle with their mental health compounded with addiction, trauma and/or homelessness.
Housing
Various types of accommodation are available. Our focus is on psychoeducation and advocacy. Motivational interviewing, PAS programs, age specific appointments and activities such as art expression, journal writing, basketball, outdoor yoga, Zumba classes and Tai Chi. Preventative care is key. We understand that stability is a challenge so the residents have the comfort of knowing that their spaces are kept if they need hospitalization or if they have a relapse. -No alcohol, cannabis or drug use on site,
Our residents receive; Clothing, toiletries, hygiene products, furnished space, bedding, coffee card, bus tickets, daily meals, snacks, food pantry items, packed lunches when attending day programs.
Accompaniment to appointments, in house Case worker, laundry facilities, computer access, hair dresser, podiatrist, lawyer, if needed.
